Purposes and scope of data processing when visiting the website

Every time a user accesses a page on our website and retrieves a file, access data about this process is stored in a log file on our server. When accessing the website, the IP addresses are transmitted through your Internet browser and stored in log data (server log files) over a period of six months.

Each record consists of:

  • the page from which the file was requested (so-called referrer URL)
  • the name of the file
  • the date and time of the request (so-called "time stamp")
  • the amount of data transferred
  • the access status (transfer file, file not found etc.)
  • a description of the type of Internet viewer used ("web browser", abbreviated "browser", such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Opera, etc.)

The storage takes place for reasons of data security, in order to guarantee the stability and the operational security of our Internet appearance. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. As a matter of principle, we will not pass on your data to third parties unless you have consented to this.

Collection and processing using the contact form

When using the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) only in the scope provided by you. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. Processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. We only use your e-mail address to process your request. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they are used. This is usually the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been finally clarified.

Using Captcha

We use so-called Captcha („Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart“) on our website. Processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. The query is for the purpose of distinguishing whether the input is from a human or an automated, machine processing, so-called "bots". All requested data is stored exclusively on the servers of ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH.

Contact us by e-mail, we will use your personal information (name, e-mail address, message text) only to contact you. Processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. Use of YouTube

We use the embed YouTube video feature of YouTube LLC on our website. (901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, "YouTube"). YouTube is a company affiliated with Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The feature displays videos deposited with YouTube in an iframe on the site. The option "Extended Privacy Mode" is activated. As a result, YouTube does not store any information about visitors to the site. Only when you watch a video information will be transmitted to and stored on YouTube. To what extent is automated decision making or profiling done?

In principle, we do not use fully automated decision-making or profiling according to Art. 22 GDPR. If we use these procedures in individual cases, we will inform you about this separately, if this is required by law.

Is your data transmitted to a third country or an international organization?

A transfer of data to offices in countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries) does not take place.

Which data protection rights exist?

You have the following rights according to Artt. 15 to 20 GDPR, §§ 34 and 35 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) on: Right of access, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability.
