ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH is celebrating its 20 years anniversary and test chassis opening took place. This WLTP test chassis was planned and executed over one year and construction was completed.


The opening of the newly built ISUZU Training Center Europe took place. The Training Center was built to improve quality of service at each ISUZU-Dealer. It serves the ISUZU-Distributors from nearly all European countries, as training place for different topics.


ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH expanded to allocate new truck garage and Aftersales related facilities including a training capability in the new Building Number 7. The Building Number 7 locates north of the original premises.


10th of January, on the premises of ISUZU MOTORS Germany, the seal has been set on the contract by representatives of General Motors and ISUZU MOTORS Ltd. to buyback ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH.
The share in ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH is now kept its 94,9% by ISUZU MOTORS Ltd. in Japan and the rest of 5,1% by ISUZU MOTORS Europe Ltd., UK.


ISUZU MOTORS Limited and General Motors Corp. established the Joint Venture ISPOL-IMG Holding B. V. for diesel engines. Members of the Joint Venture are:
  • ISUZU MOTORS Polska sp. Z. o. o. in Tychy, Poland
  • ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH (IMG)
The major shareholder (94,9 %) of ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH is ISPOL-IMG Holding B. V. based in Holland and ISUZU MOTORS Europe Ltd., UK (5,1 %).ISPOL-IMG Holding B. V. is owned by General Motors (60 %) and ISUZU (40 %).


ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH passed successfully its first quality and environmental certification based on DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001.


Implementation of the new research and development center located
Im Weiherfeld 2 in 65462 Ginsheim-Gustavsburg.


The ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH was founded in November 1997 as a 100 % subsidiary of ISUZU MOTORS Europe Limited.
IMG started to work in rented offices and workshops. At the same time, the new building for the research and development center was planned, approved and constructed.
